Jared Leto Is Open To Returning As Joker In The DCEU After Zack Snyder’s Justice League

Jared Leto has revealed that he’s very much open to the possibility of returning to the DCEU as the Joker after Zack Snyder’s Justice League. He revealed this during a recent interview with Variety.

This is something that’s been rumoured ever since it was revealed that Jared Leto had been asked to come back to do reshoots for Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Snyder wanted to film some extra scenes with Jared Leto as the DCEU’s Joker in his cut of the Justice League movie.

It’s since been revealed that they seemed to get along really well, and there are even rumours that Jared Leto wants Zack Snyder to direct a solo Joker movie with him as the Clown Prince of Crime.

Jared Leto recently opened up about what it was like working with Snyder and he also revealed he’d be up for returning as the Joker in the DCEU again in the future:

It’s hard to say no to that character. It’s like Albert Sparma in The Little Things. There are very few characters that you play that have absolutely no rules, you know, that you could just go to town. It’s so much fun, that energy. I had a lot of fun with that character. Sparma reminds me a little bit of that character as well, in that he’s just a little outside the box. He’s someone who says everything that he thinks, basically. And he always is surprising. He’s very playful. And I found him actually quite funny as well.

As you can see in that quote, Leto is keen on the idea of playing the Joker again. He also compared him to his character in his upcoming HBO Max series, The Little Things.
