Birds of Prey New Trailer Margot Robbie Harley Quinn

James Gunn Would Like To See A Harley Quinn and Groot Team-Up Movie

People do love a good comic book team-up movie, and we don’t get that many of them. The Suicide Squad director and writer, James Gunn, revealed he’d like to see Harley Quinn and Groot team up in a movie.

He’s currently hard at work making The Suicide Squad, however, he will be directing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 afterwards.

Sounds like he might be thinking about which characters he could get to crossover from Marvel and DC Comics.

Recently, a fan on Twitter asked Gunn: “If you could choose one character from Guardians of the Galaxy and one character from The Suicide Squad to meet each other. Who would those two characters be?”

Here’s what Gunn had to say on the subject:

“I’ve discussed this extensively with @MargotRobbie and I think Harley and Groot would have fabulous adventures together. And there are other great combos I’d bring up… if we at #TheSuicideSquad weren’t keeping things under wraps… 🤐,” Gunn shared.

Wouldn’t that be an incredible team-up movie?

Groot and Harley Quinn would be something I’d really want to see.

As for Margot Robbie’s Birds of Prey, the movie hasn’t the best opening weekend at the box office.

In fact, it’s just recorded the worst ever DCEU movie opening weekend, which isn’t something it wanted.

I think that people might go see it again and again at the cinema.

I also think there’s going to be good word of mouth as far as Birds of Prey’s concerned.

Personally, I had great fun with the film and would love to see Margot Robbie get to play Harley Quinn again and again.

She’ll be playing Harley next in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, so I’m pretty excited for that.

What do you make of this? Do you like James Gunn’s idea of having a Harley Quinn and Groot team-up movie?
