The Suicide Squad is currently filming and we’ve now had our first look at John Cena in the upcoming James Gunn movie.
Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Comics snapped up James Gunn after he was fired by Disney from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
The story of what happened to James Gunn is pretty well known, so I won’t go into it here.
What it all resulted in was us getting a DC Comics movie from James Gunn, and Gunn being rehired by Disney to direct the third Guardians movie.
Anyway, we quickly found out that John Cena had been cast in The Suicide Squad.
This movie has one of the best casts I’ve ever seen for a comic book movie.
It has recently bee revealed that Cena will be playing Peacemaker in the movie.
We’ve now had our first look at Cena as Peacemaker in a recent set video which was posted by a fan on Twitter.
Cena’s look in the movie is really something to behold.

It’s pretty obvious from the video and the subsequent picture the DC Comics fan posted online that Cena’s character is going to be a funny one.
Cena can be seen wearing a Lacoste T-shirt and very short shorts.
He’s also wearing very high white socks and white tennis shoes.
To round off the rather geeky look, Cena’s T-shirt is tucked into his shorts.
It’s a pretty loud look and I cannot wait to see him in action in the movie.
The Suicide Squad will be in cinemas here in the UK on August 6th, 2021.
