Hulk Solo Movie Might Be Happening

It’s being reported that a solo Hulk movie is in development over at Marvel Studios, which would be brilliant if this news is correct.

This report comes from Giant Freakin Robot, and I have to say that I do have my doubts about it.

One of the main reasons is because the Hulk movie rights are shared between Marvel Studios and Universal Pictures.

If they were to make a Hulk movie, Marvel would have to go to Universal and try and make it with them.

I’m not certain whether Marvel would really want to do that.

They’re already doing this with the Spider-Man movies, and that deal has proven to be rather difficult at times.

It’s been pretty lucrative for both Marvel and Sony, although Sony gets a bigger cut of the film’s profits.

The reason why Marvel did that deal was so that they could bring Spider-Man into the Avengers movies.

The Hulk could be getting his own solo MCU movie

However, with the Hulk, he’s already part of the Avengers, and they’ve even used the character in Thor: Ragnarok.

Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk has been used in an interesting way.

He’s a key part of the Avengers, and they’ve also opted to have him turn up in other heroes’ movies.

Well, at the moment, he’s only appeared in Thor: Ragnarok aside from the Avengers films.

The Hulk wasn’t in Captain America: Civil War, which was a pretty big omission.

So, the idea of giving him a solo movie does seem a bit of a stretch.

That said, never say never as far as Marvel movie are concerned.

GFR’s sources are telling them that it’s happening, so fingers crossed they are right.
