It’s been revealed by Kevin Feige that the upcoming Fantastic Four movie is in the works and will be directed by Spider-Man director, Jon Watts. This was revealed during the recent Disney Investor’s Call, and I cannot believe how much stuff they announced during this call.
Jon Watts is currently hard at work making the upcoming Spider-Man 3 movie, which we didn’t actually get any real news for apart from that it’s being filmed at the moment in Atlanta. However, we did get some interesting news regarding the Fantastic Four movie.
Kevin Feige just dropped the bombshell news that the movie is in the works and will be directed by Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man 3 director, Jon Watts. This is a great choice if you ask me.

As I mentioned above, Jon Watts is currently directing Spider-Man 3, and there has been a lot written about this Fantastic Four movie. I was told that Kevin Feige was keen on bringing Emma Blunt and John Krasinski into the movie as Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards) and The Invisible Woman (Susan Storm).
Now, he didn’t reveal any casting news regarding the movie, which is a shame. However, he did reveal that they’re working on the film and Jon Watts is directing. This is pretty huge news, and I cannot wait to see what he does with the movie.
