There’s a new Fallout TV show coming to Amazon Prime Video and it’s just cast the brilliant Walton Goggins in a lead role.

This news comes from Variety and I love this casting.

According to the report, Goggins will be playing a character based on a Ghoul.

Ghouls are Fallout’s beast-like creatures that have mutated from human form due to longterm radiation exposure.

This won’t be the first time that Walton Goggins has been involved in a video game adaptation.

He was also the villain in 2018’s Tomb Raider movie.

The Fallout series has been in development for quite some time.

Jonathan Nolan and his wife Lisa Joy have been working on bringing Fallout to the small screen for quite some time.

They both worked on the HBO show, Westworld.

Nolan and Joy will serve as executive producers on the show and Bethesda Softworks’ own Todd Howard, who directed the video games Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, will also be involved in some capacity.

The show will be set on an alternate version of Earth which was destroyed by a nuclear war.

The surviving humans took shelter in nuclear bunkers and they all come out years after the war to find that humankind and Earth is in utter ruins.

Each and every Fallout video game takes place around a specific even set in this post-apocalyptic world.

I can’t wait to see which game Nolan and Joy have decided to adapt for the small screen.

I’m pretty sure that they’ll want to put their own unique spin on the story.
