Edge Of Tomorrow 2’s Script Is Very Promising Says Emily Blunt

Star of Edge Of Tomorrow, Emily Blunt, has revealed that the sequel’s script (which I’m calling Edge Of Tomorrow 2) is very promising which in itself is very promising. She revealed this during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

This is very strange for me because I literally just watched Edge of Tomorrow last night. It was also known as Live Die Repeat, but I prefer Edge of Tomorrow as a title. Anyway, there were talks of a sequel, however, Emily Blunt ended up doing Mary Poppins Returns instead and they couldn’t get her’s and Tom Cruise’s schedules to line up.

Well, it looks like the movie might be back on the cards now as Emily Blunt’s been talking about the film’s script, which she called “really promising”. The first movie was based on a manga series called All You Need Is Kill, which is bloody brilliant!

Here’s what Emily Blunt told The Hollywood Reporter about Edge of Tomorrow 2’s script:

Yes, [the script] is really promising and really, really cool. I just don’t know when everything’s going to sort of aligning, you know what I mean? Between all of our schedules, it would just have to be the right time. But there is something in the works, for sure, that’s a great idea. A great idea.

Hopefully, they all end up managing to get their schedules worked out so that they can make this movie happen. Edge of Tomorrow 2 needs to happen, or, maybe it already has done…?
