Doctor Doom Will Debut In The MCU In Black Panther 2

Doctor Doom MCU Black Panther 2

It’s recently been revealed that Doctor Doom is going to be appearing in the upcoming Black Panther 2. This news comes to us from FandomWire and Popcorned Planet.

It really seems now as though Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige are looking to adapt the Doom War story arc from the comics in the MCU. This is something that will really get the fans excited, and it’s as big a deal as hearing that they’re adapting Secret Invasion.

Doom War is a huge storyline and involves Doctor Doom. We already knew that a Fantastic Four movie was coming, which is being directed by Jon Watts. It’s now being reported that Ryan Coogler’s going to have the honour of debuting Doctor Doom in the MCU in his upcoming Black Panther 2.

Ryan Coogler is currently prepping Black Panther 2 and some have reported that he’s currently rewriting the movie’s script. This is due to the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman, so they’re having to adapt the script slightly. Yet, Popcorned Planet and FandomWire are claiming that the main story will be pretty much the same.

Here’s what Andy Signor wrote over at FandomWire about Victor Von Doom coming to Black Panther 2:

The Marvel Cinematic Universe intends to use Doctor Doom as his own character, outside of the Fantastic Four franchise to start. He will be appearing in a smaller role as the overall bad guy pulling the strings in Black Panther 2. We’re also told Doom’s appearance in Black Panther 2 will not just be as Victor, but in full Doctor Doom armor.

Now, who do you think should be playing Victor Von Doom? I like the idea of Viggo Mortensen or Giancarlo Esposito getting the role. I’ll let you know if I hear anything about this.
