Black Panther 2 Might Feature Doctor Doom As One Of Its Villains
There are rumours that Doctor Doom could be one of the villains in Black Panther 2, and that’s reason enough to get excited about this movie (if you needed any more reasons that is).
We already know that Black Panther 2 will see the likes of Chadwick Boseman and Martin Freeman return as T’Challa and Everett K. Ross respectively.
We also know that the film will be directed by Ryan Coogler and he’ll be directing it as well. Added to this, we know that the film will be released in 2020.
However, we don’t know whether he’ll be the main villain or not. That said, his inclusion makes sense because of his interesting backstory in the comics.
He is usually the archnemesis of The Fantastic Four, however, his possible inclusion in Black Panther 2 might have something to do with the fact that the character was also the ruler of a fictional country called Latveria.
Doctor Doom might turn up in Black Panther 2
Now, who else is the ruler of a fictional country? Oh yes, T’Challa is. He’s the King of Wakanda, and it would be pretty awesome to see him and Doctor Doom battle it out on the international stage.
Charles Murphy also reports that Doom might be looking to expand his empire into parts of Africa, which will get Black Panther’s attention and he’ll do everything he can to stop this tyrannical ruler from succeeding in his evil plan.
Murphy also suggests in his report that the main inspiration for Black Panther 2 will likely be Black Panther: Doomwar, which is the comic book event in which Doom tried to take over Wakanda in order to get at its supply of Vibranium.
He was particularly interested in its mystical properties, which makes sense.
