It’s been revealed by one of the stars of Pirates Of The Caribbean that Disney needs to let Johnny Depp at least make a cameo in one of the upcoming Pirates movies.

A lot’s been said about how Disney has treated Johnny Depp recently.

One of the people who’s been talking about it a lot recently is one of the stars of the Pirates movies, Greg Ellis.

He played Lieutenant Theodore Groves in three of the first five Pirates films.

Ellis recently spoke to The Express about what’s happened to Johnny Depp recently and he really hasn’t liked the way Disney has treated him.

Here’s what Greg Ellis had to say about Johnny Depp deserving at least a cameo in one of the upcoming Pirates movies:

I think for Pirates 6, in an ideal world, every character who the fans have fallen in love with will be able to come back to kind of wrap everything up. Ultimately it comes down to screenplay and story. If Jack Sparrow isn’t a key, if not the key element, to wrapping up a multi-billion dollar franchise, is it not akin to not having Captain Kirk in Star Trek? Do I think he’s going to come back? Yes. To what degree, I’m not sure. There’s this reputation savaging that’s going on, this victimhood culture where victimhood is the new social currency and its economy is booming, and it’s been inflated.

    So, yes, I absolutely think the person who made it what it is should be in the movie. And “made it what it is” is meant literally, not figuratively. Disney did not even like JD’s vision of Jack Sparrow. He had to fight them for enough creative license to actually portray as he hoped. So, while Disney owns the character, JD has made the character iconic, has made the series the success that it had been.

    JD needs to be in PotC 6, preferably as the star he should be but, AT THE VERY LEAST, in a cameo appearance that would serve as an ending or a transition. To omit him is not only morally inappropriate, it’s also financially suicidal.

    For Pirates of the Caribbean 6, I would like so much that there is : especially these musics “Yo Ho A Pirate’s Life for Me” of the original ride https://miniurl.be/r-2uv0 https://miniurl.be/r-2uv2 https://miniurl.be/r-2vz6 https://miniurl.be/r-2vz7 ;
    -the return of these characters played by the same actors: Pintel and Ragetti, Angelica Teach, Edward Teague;
    -the ship Queen Anne’s Revenge commanded either by Carina Smyth/Barbossa or by Edward Teague with the Sword of Triton whose powers board enemy ships, also using Greek fire;
    -naval battles with the entire pirate fleet (led by Queen Anne’s Revenge) against the enemy fleet (British or Spanish), and before the battle begins, the pirate fleet suddenly appears as a reinforcement for the main characters against the enemy fleet, the pirates raise all their different flags (based on historical pirate flags) as in Pirates of the Caribbean At World’s End;
    -undead pirates fighting British or Spanish soldiers;
    -a large white sperm whale like the one in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow, attacking and killing a giant squid, destroying rowboats and sinking enemy ships like Moby Dick with its jaws and head;
    If this sixth Pirates of the Caribbean is not a sequel, I so want it to be a prequel rather than a reboot, telling the youth and adventures of Edward Teague the father of Jack Sparrow: before the birth of the latter and after; of Hector Barbossa: how he became a pirate, how he survived when Blackbeard boarded the Black Pearl, what he did after killing Blackbeard and obtained the Queen Anne’s Revenge; how Blackbeard is alive when he was told by Jack Sparrow in fourth Pirates of the Caribbean that he was beheaded.
