Disney Reportedly Wants To ‘Fix’ Star Wars By Making A Luke Skywalker Movie

There are rumours that Disney wants to ‘Fix’ the Star Wars movies by making a standalone Luke Skywalker film.

Honestly, I do not like the sound of this rumour at all.

There’s also the fact that it comes from YouTubers Overlord DVD, and they have a rather ‘spotty’ track-record as far as these ‘rumours’ are concerned.

That said, they are reporting that Disney is looking into making a standalone Luke Skywalker movie.

If this is the case, then I think it sounds like Disney wanting to appease the upset Star Wars fans who claimed that the Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi wasn’t ‘their’ Luke Skywalker.

As far as I was – and still am – concerned, the Luke Skywalker we got in The Last Jedi made perfect sense.

I also thought Mark Hamill got to deliver his best ever performance in a Star Wars movie.

Sounds as though Disney is planning on making a Luke Skywalker Star Wars movie

Overlord DVD is one of those YouTubers who likes to put a lot of stuff out there and see what sticks.

They also really did not enjoy The Last Jedi.

Anyway, according to the rumour, Disney intends to get rid of Kathleen Kennedy.

As soon as they do that, they’ll bring back George Lucas to ‘revise’ the Sequel Trilogy.

He would then start with a movie that features Luke Skywalker 10 years after the events of Return of the Jedi.

I feel like this rumour is more wishful thinking than from any actual sources inside Lucasfilm.

This rumour has yet to be substantiated, like many of his other ‘Star Wars leaks’.
