Lucasfilm Rumoured To Be Bringing Darth Bane To Live-Action

There’s a new rumour suggesting that Disney and Lucasfilm are looking into bringing Darth Bane to live-action in either the movies or shows.

Darth Bane is one of the most interesting Sith Lords in the Star Wars extended universe.

He’s no longer part of canon ever since Disney acquired Lucasfilm.

However, it sounds there are plans to bring him into canon.

Actually, technically he’s already part of canon since he did appear in the animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

That said, we haven’t seen or heard much about Darth Bane in the Star Wars TV shows and movies.

Daniel Ritchman has now suggested that Disney and Lucasfilm are planning on bringing the Sith Lord to live-action.

Darth Bane is arguably one of the most powerful Sith Lords ever in the Star Wars universe.

His story unfolds a thousand years before the events of The Clone Wars, and he’s been established as one of the most influential figures in the Sith Order’s history.

He’s the one who came up with the Rule of Two which stated that there could only be two Siths at one time: a Master and an apprentice.

The apprentice generally ends up killing his or her Master and then takes their place.

This ensured the longevity of the Sith Order and paved the way for Darth Sidious to come out of the shadows and almost destroy the Jedi Order.
