Chris Evans Reportedly In Early Talks With Marvel Studios To Return To The MCU

There are rumours that Chris Evans and Marvel Studios are in very early talks about bringing his version of Captain America back to the MCU.

This rumour comes from We Got This Covered, who’s sources claim that the two parties are in very early discussions.

Even though his Captain America got a pretty nice ending in Avengers: Endgame, it’s going to be pretty hard moving forward without him.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is in a rather odd place right now.

We’ve said goodbye to the likes of Iron Man and Evans’ Captain America.

However, Endgame seemingly left the door open for both characters’ return due to the introduction of time-travel to the MCU.

Evans has been linked to a cameo appearance as the older version of Steve Rogers in The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.

However, WGTC’s source claims Evans and Marvel are considering bringing back Steve Rogers in his prime.

This could be in a flashback or time-travel sequence.

I do think that the MCU needs to move away from the likes of Evans’ Cap and Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark.

That said, fans do seem to be rather desperate to see both characters return to the MCU.

That might happen one day, but I think we need to establish new characters in the MCU.
