Charlie Cox Is Reportedly Playing Daredevil In Spider-Man 3
It’s being reported that Charlie Cox is going to be brought back as Daredevil in the upcoming Spider-Man 3 movie. This rumour comes from Murphy’s Multiverse, who has a pretty good track record with these sorts of scoops.
This is something that fans of the Netflix Daredevil series have been pleading for for what seems like ages. It was revealed that the movie and TV rights had reverted back to Marvel Studios a few days ago.
People have been begging Marvel Studios to either revive the series or bring Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, a.k.a. Matt Murdock into the Marvel Cinematic Universe proper. He’s been on the fringes for a while, and it seems like it’s his time to shine in the MCU.
Charlie Cox might be returning as Daredevil in Spider-Man 3
Now, before I get too carried away, I must say that this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. However, I’ve followed Murphy’s Multiverse for quite some time now, and Charles’ scoops tend to be bang on the money.
He wrote in his exclusive article the following. He said: “Kevin Feige finally has his chance to envision the characters to fit his ever-growing sandbox of a multi-platformed universe.”
He then went on to reveal that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will be introduced to the MCU in Spider-Man 3, and he also added that this deal between Cox and Marvel Studios has been locked in for several months now. I’m pretty sure fans of Cox’s take on Daredevil will be over the moon about this news/rumour. I for one am very excited to see him return to the role.
