We should be rejoicing because Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 is now available to watch over on Netflix right now. This is brilliant news because Brooklyn Nine-Nine is one of the best comedy shows out there.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 is a bit of an odd season. Why, you ask? It’s because it’s only ten episodes long, and this actually has to do with the Black Lives Matter movement and the protests in the United States and across the globe.
The show’s creators, Dan Goor and Michael Schur did have other episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 ready to go, and then George Floyd was brutally murdered by police. Goor, Schur, NBC and the show’s entire cast felt that they couldn’t release the episodes they had planned because they felt that airing them wouldn’t be right, morally speaking.

This was revealed by Andy Samberg during a recent interview with People. Here’s what he told the publication about future episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7:
We’re taking a step back, and the writers are all rethinking how we’re going to move forward, as well as the cast. We’re all in touch and kind of discussing how you make a comedy show about police right now, and if we can find a way of doing that, that we all feel morally okay about. I know that we’ll figure it out, but it’s definitely a challenge, so we’ll see how it goes.
Well, you can now watch all ten episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 on Netflix, and it looks like we’ll have to wait a while for more episodes of the show.
