A Boba Fett Live-Action Star Wars Miniseries Rumoured To Be In The Works For Disney Plus

There are rumours making their rounds on the Internet claiming that Disney and Lucasfilm are working on a Boba Fett miniseries for Disney Plus. These rumours stem from an article published by Deadline regarding The Mandalorian Season 3’s production and casting announcement.

This little tidbit of news was buried a bit in the article (although, I will say that they mentioned it in the headline). They’re claiming that there are rumblings of Disney and Lucasfilm working on a Boba Fett miniseries for Disney Plus.

This will be sure to get many Star Wars fans – of which I am one – very excited. We recently saw Temuera Morrison return very briefly as the character in The Mandalorian Season 2’s premiere episode.

Is Boba Fett getting his own miniseries for Disney Plus?

It seems as though Disney and Lucasfilm are very interested in expanding the character beyond The Mandalorian series and they want to give him his own miniseries. Sounds like a good plan to me.

Deadline’s report states that one of the reasons why there might be some confusion as to when The Mandalorian Season 3 might be going into production has to do with this Boba Fett miniseries. They’re saying that this miniseries could be filmed before Season 3, and they go even further. They’re claiming it could start filming as early as next week!
