It was revealed that Boba Fett will have a small role in The Mandalorian Season 2, however, it’s being reported that he’ll have a bigger role in Season 3.
This news was revealed by The Direct who reported that Boba Fett will have a much larger and more important role in Season 3 of The Mandalorian.
Fett will be played by Temuera Morrison who originally played Jango Fett in the Star Wars prequel films.
It was initially reported that Boba Fett will have a small role in Season 2.
There were also reports that Morrison might be playing Captain Rex in The Mandalorian Season 2 or 3.
Anyway, back to Fett’s role in Season 3, The Direct reported that the iconic Star Wars bounty hunter will “play a much larger part in Season 3 of Din Djarin’s story than he will in the second season.”

Just in case you have no idea who Din Djarin is, that’s the name of Pedro Pascal’s Mandalorian character (the show’s main character…).
At his point, this is just a rumour, however, it does seem to make sense.
There were some hints that Boba Fett was going to make an appearance at some point in The Mandalorian in Season 1.
I’m quite excited Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni tackle Boba Fett in their Star Wars live-action series.
