It’s being rumoured that Disney and Marvel Studios have decided on how to move forward with Black Panther 2 following Chadwick Boseman’s passing.

Chadwick Boseman’s passing came as a huge shock to many of us.

It was a bit like being hit in the face by a cricket bat (or a baseball bat for our American friends).

The world was in a state of shock and sadness, and not many of us were thinking about what they would do with Black Panther 2.

I remember just being devastated for all of Chadwick’s closest friends and family.

However, Disney and Marvel are in the movie business which doesn’t stop (although, Covid-19 is doing its very best to make it all stop).

So, there is the lingering question of what to do with Black Panther 2.

Well, according to We Got This Covered’s sources, Disney and Marvel Studios have figured out how to move forward with the movie.

Sounds like Disney now knows what to do with Black Panther 2

Their sources claim that they are planning to have T’Challa die off-screen.

The rumour is that they’ll have a funeral for the character and then T’Challa’s sister, Shuri (played by Letitia Wright) will then take up the Black Panther mantle.

This seems like the most logical thing to do.

It would also be the most honourable thing to do.

We can’t have Marvel and Disney recast Black Panther.

Shuri has also been Black Panther in the comics, so it really does seem like the right way to go for the movie, the actor and the MCU.
