The CW Is Rumoured To Be Trying To Get A Batman TV Show Made

There’s a rumour that The CW is trying to convince Warner Bros. Pictures to let them make a Batman TV show.

This rumour comes from We Got This Covered’s sources, so maybe take it with a bit pinch of salt.

However, I know that The CW is very keen on expanding its DC Comics library of TV shows.

They’ve already had to say goodbye to their biggest series in Arrow.

It also looks like The Flash is nearing its end.

Then there’s the fact that Batwoman and Supergirl aren’t performing as well as they would like.

There’s also the fact that Warner Bros. Pictures is starting to do more work with HBO Max on upcoming series.

So, The CW needs something and is probably scrambling right now to keep their DC Comics properties alive.

They still have the likes of Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, Supergirl, The Flash and Black Lightning.

We’ve seen new DC Comics shows such as Doom Patrol and Teen Titans do pretty well with reviewers.

There’s also the fact that Warner Bros. and HBO are going to be working on The Batman spinoff TV series together.

So, yeah. It makes sense that The CW might be trying to get another DC Comics series made.

Batman makes sense, but it remains to be seen whether Warner Bros. Pictures will let them do it.
