Amber Heard Claims There Was A ‘Mountain Of Evidence’ Against Johnny Depp

Amber-Heard-Final-Day-Johnny-Depp-Trial

It was revealed today that the jury in the Johnny Depp trial found Amber Heard guilty of defaming her ex-husband, however, the Aquaman actor has since taken to Twitter to claim that there was a “mountain of evidence” against Mr Depp.

Here’s what Amber Heard posted on Twitter:

The disappointment I feel today is beyond words. I’m heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence and sway of my ex-husband. I’m even more disappointed with what this verdict means for other women. It’s a setback. It sets back the clock to a time when a woman who spoke up and spoke out could be publicly humiliated. It sets back the idea that violence against women is to be taken seriously.

I do find her statement to be rather odd since there clearly wasn’t that much evidence against Johnny Depp shown at the trial.

Most of the actual evidence presented was against Amber Heard and it all pointed at her being the abusive one in their relationship.

Amber Heard is counter-suing Johnny Depp for $100 million.

She is claiming that Depp, through his lawyer’s statements, defamed her after claiming that her allegations were a “hoax”.

It’s going to be interesting to see how that trial ends up going.
