Al Pacino has revealed that he would love to see Timothée Chalamet play a young version of his character in a Heat sequel, which we think would be great!

Al Pacino played Lieutenant Vincent Hanna in 1995’s Heat movie.

There was a special event celebrating Michael Mann’s crime drama’s 20th anniversary at the Tribeca Film Festival.

During a Q&A session, Pacino was asked who could potentially play his character in a second film.

The 82-year-old responded that Timothée Chalamet would be perfect.

Timothée Chalamet. I mean, he’s a wonderful actor. Great looks.

Chalamet might just be in luck since there is a Heat sequel (of sorts) in the works.

It was revealed that Michael Mann, who was unable to attend the Tribeca event after testing positive for Covid-19, is releasing Heat 2 on August 9th, 2022, as a book.

After the book gets released, I am sure that a lot of people will start wondering about when it’ll be made into a movie.

The book will follow the lives of the master burglar, Neil McCauley (Robert De Niro) and Al Pacino’s obsessive detective Lt. Hanna before and after the events of the 1995 film.

Sounds like that could be easily made into a movie.

So, if Chalamet was to play Hanna in a Heat 2, who would play McCauley? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
