X-Men Dark Phoenix Director Wants To Direct An X-Men Film For Marvel

X-Men Dark Phoenix’s director, Simon Kinberg, revealed that he would love to direct an X-Men movie for Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Kinberg was a huge part of the X-Men films at 20th Century Fox.

He ended up directing X-Men Dark Phoenix, and he also basically directed the Fantastic Four movie.

That’s actually a really interesting story.

It sounds like the film’s supposed director, Josh Trank, had a bit of a meltdown and Kinberg had to step in.

He’s produced basically all of the X-Men movies and he seems to really love the franchise.

He’s now revealed his desire to direct an X-Men movie for Marvel Studios in the MCU.

Simon revealed this during a recent watch party with IGN.

Here’s what Kinberg told IGN about directing an X-Men movie for Marvel Studios:

I’ve dedicated a lot of my life to Logan and Deadpool and the X-Men and would love to do a fresh take.

He was very candid during the watch party with IGN.

They were watching the X-Men movie, Days of Future Past, and he also revealed that he has a great love for the MCU movies.

I love Endgame, it’s one of my favorite comic book movies of all time. The MCU’s tone in general is a bit more playful than our movies. We went more operatic, dramatic.
