Watch Venom: Let There Be Carnage’s First Trailer

Venom-Let-There-Be-Carnage-film delayed

The first trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage has been released and it looks pretty darn good to me at least.

The film was directed by Andy Serkis (I love that choice of director), and will see Tom Hardy return as Eddie Brock. aka Venom.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage was supposed to have been released in cinemas back in 2020.

However, the pandemic meant that Sony Pictures had to push the film back.

As the pandemic continued, Sony Pictures continued to push the movie back.

It’s kind of insane that we still hadn’t seen a trailer for the movie up until this point.

However, the fact that we have one – finally – today, is a good sign.

It indicates that Sony Pictures sees a future in which they can release the movie in cinemas and not be too worried about people not going to see it due to the pandemic.

People, especially in the US are being vaccinated at a rapid rate, and that means that cinemas can open up again almost at full capacity.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage’s first trailer is quite promising

There’s a lot to like about this first trailer.

It shows that they are going to play Brock and Venom’s relationship as a comedy, which I like.

I loved Tom Hardy’s performance in the first movie, and I’m looking forward to seeing him back in the role.

Then we have Woody Harrelson as Carnage, aka Cletus Kasady.

Cletus is in prison for murder, and he ends up becoming the host of an alien symbiote who goes by the name of Carnage.

It’ll be interesting to see how Venom and Carnage get on in this movie.

The film also stars the likes of Michelle Williams, Reid Scott, and Naomie Harris.
