WandaVision’s EP Teases More Exploration Into Scarlet Witch And Quicksilver’s Relationship

Quicksilver WandaVision

WandaVision’s Executive Producer and showrunner has teased that there’ll be more exploration into Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver’s relationship. Jac Schaeffer revealed this whilst speaking to The Wrap.

Last week’s episode of WandaVision was the first time we’ve heard Pietro Maximoff’s name since he died in Avengers: Age Of Ultron. It was a pretty big moment in the show, and Wanda got really scary when it happened.

It sounds like we’re going to learn more about Wanda and Pietro’s relationship in the upcoming episodes of the new hit Marvel Studios show on Disney Plus, This was hinted at by the show’s showrunner, Jac Shaeffer in a recent interview.

Here’s what Schaeffer had to say about what’s to come in WandaVision over the course of its first season:

The show is about Wanda and Vision and it’s an opportunity to dig deeper into who they are. And that has to do with where they come from. We’re all a product of our experiences and our trauma and our relationships. And so we will be exploring all of those details of their pasts as we move forward.

So, it sounds like we’ll be seeing Wanda Maximoff explore more of trauma over the course of this first season of WandaVision, which includes the loss of her brother, Quicksilver. This is pretty darn interesting, and I can’t wait to see it.
