The Fantastic Four in the MCU is something that Marvel fans have been desperate to see for quite some time now. It was confirmed by Kevin Feige at the Disney Investor’s Day presentation that Jon Watts would be directing the MCU’s first-ever Fantastic Four movie.
There have been many rumours of there suggesting that Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are up for the roles of Susan Storm and Reed Richards in the movie. We’ve been informed that they are both in talks with Marvel Studios for the roles.
The Fantastic Four will be working with SWORD – to be revealed in WandaVision
Here’s what Mikey Sutton wrote about the Fantastic Four working with SWORD and the seeds of this being planted in WandaVison:
Apparently, Marvel Studios intends on staying faithful to The Fantastic Four’s roots with all of them being astronauts. The main difference is that they’re working for S.W.O.R.D.
Sutton then went on to suggest that the Quantum Realm could play a role in bringing the Fantastic Four into the MCU, but he added that his sources weren’t able to confirm whether this would be the case. The Quantum Realm was first introduced in 2015’s Ant-Man movie.
