It’s being rumoured that Marvel Studios is looking at Vin Diesel to play Black Bolt in an Inhumans reboot. This story comes to us from Mikey Sutton over at Geekosity, and it would be an interesting bit of casting.
If you had to cast a strong silent type in your movie, then Vin Diesel might be pretty high on your list. I actually think he would make a really good Black Bolt in an Inhumans reboot. However, I do not believe they will be remaking the Inhumans because the TV show was such a disaster.
That said, this doesn’t mean Marvel Studios couldn’t be looking at other ways of rebooting the Inhumans. They could bring them into another character’s TV show or one of the MCU movies. That could be a thing.
Now, before we carry on, I have to mention that Vin Diesel is already in the MCU. He’s the voice of Groot, but I think it would be pretty genius to cast Vin as Black Bolt and have him seen, but not heard. He would be heard as the voice of Groot. That would be really interesting and a brilliant in-joke also that only MCU fans would get.

Here’s what Mikey Sutton over at Geekosity had to say about Vin Diesel still be looked at to play Black Bolt in an Inhumans reboot:
Vin Diesel is the front runner to play Black Bolt in Marvel Studios reboot of the Inhumans. Although no Inhumans film is currently in development, talks continue on how they will be reintroduced in the MCU.
So, it sounds like there are still plans over at Marvel Studios to bring in the Inhumans into the MCU in some shape or form. This might not be via a solo movie, but they could maybe introduce the Inhumans via another project. Maybe a movie or a TV show, but I doubt it would be an Inhumans TV show, as I explained earlier.
