Truth Seekers Season 2 Isn’t Happening After Amazon Cancels The Show

It’s been revealed that Truth Seekers Season 2 won’t be happening after Amazon opted to cancel the show just after one season. This is really sad news for me because I really loved the show and was really looking forward to seeing Truth Seekers Season 2.

This news that Truth Seekers has been cancelled by Amazon was revealed by Deadline. “It’s a massive kick in the willy,” said Nick Frost via Instagram in a since-deleted post.

This is how Frost described Amazon’s decision to cancel his ghost-hunting comedy Truth Seekers after just a single season. Frost also co-wrote the show along with his longtime collaborator Simon Pegg. Together, they wrote Hot Fuzz and Shaun Of The Dead.

Here’s what Nick Frost had to say about Truth Seekers’ cancellation after just one season of Amazon Prime Video:

Sadly, Truth Seekers will not be returning for a second season. Truth Seekers has not been renewed, which is a massive kick in the willy for me. We really put our all into this – our heart and soul, and blood in some cases, so to not come back is really sad for us. It’s a shame. I think we had lots of lovely ghost stories to tell – stories that will remain now untold. If you liked the show, thank you. And if you didn’t, are you happy now? Happy now?
