Tiger King’s Joe Exotic Didn’t Get Pardoned By Donald Trump

It’s been revealed that Donald Trump didn’t decide to pardon Tiger King’s Joe Exotic, which is just so amusing. Why is this amusing, you ask? Because it was revealed that Joe Exotic had a limo waiting for him outside the prison he currently resides in.

The man who calls himself Joe Exotic (his real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage) became incredibly famous in 2020 after Tiger King landed on Netflix. Tiger King is a very popular Netflix docuseries which is about Exotic’s big cat park and his feud with animal rights activist Carole Baskin. He hated her so much that he hired someone to kill her, was found out and then sentenced to 22 years in prison.

After ending up in prison, Exotic started to petition the former President for his release. He was sending Trump handwritten letters referencing the president’s own legal battles, with Exotic saying: “I see what they do to you, and I can’t believe it.”

Exotic’s legal team then started campaigning for Exotic to be pardoned on social media and his attorney also submitted a 257-page application for a pardon, which said:

He humbly requests a pardon to correct the injustices he has experienced and to have the opportunity to return to providing meaningful contributions to his community.

Well, turns out that Trump wasn’t listening and opted not to pardon Joe Exotic for his crimes. Funnily enough, his legal team was so confident he’d be pardoned that they hired a limo and booked a restaurant for Exotic. His private investigator Eric Love said:

We’re confident enough we already have a limousine parked about half a mile from the prison. We are really in action mode right now. I’ve got make-up, wardrobe, the whole unit that will come up. The first thing Joe wants to do, he wants his hair done. He hasn’t had his hair done in two-and-a-half years. That’s the first order of business. Then we’ll probably go and get some pizzas, steak, maybe a McRib.
