This was revealed by Mikey Sutton and Syl Adbul when they were talking to Samba TV’s Senior Director Dr. Jeffrey Silverman.
You can check out the interview that Mikey and Syl conducted with Dr. Silverman over on YouTube.
It was a really interesting discussion, during which Dr. Silverman revealed that the Snyder Cut’s numbers on HBO Max are much higher than we’ve been lead to believe.
The Snyder Cut streaming numbers on HBO Max are pretty impressive
Dr. Silverman revealed that the Snyder Cut was watched by 3.7 million households in its first 39 days.
However, these numbers were not shown by Warner Bros. Pictures.
They were actively seeking to prevent these numbers from being released to the general public.
Dr. Silverman revealed to Sutton and Abdul:
The Snyder Cut beat almost every other movie we looked at [upon its release on HBO Max.]
The Snyder Cut beat almost every other movie
It was also revealed during their interview with Dr. Silverman that the only films to top Zack Snyder’s Justice League were Disney Plus’ Soul and HBO Max’ Wonder Woman 1984 in their first 30 days.
However, it has to be stated that Soul and Wonder Woman 1984 were both new movies that had the potential to make over a billion dollars at the box office if they had been released theatrically.
Dr. Silverman revealed that the Snyder Cut is “absolutely a success”.
He added that “it did great. That’s an objective fact.”
