The Mandalorian Season 3 Might Feature A Luke Skywalker Cameo

The recent episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 seemed to set up the possibility of seeing Luke Skywalker in a cameo in a future season, possibly Season 3. The recent episode of The Mandalorian Season 2, called Chapter 13: The Jedi, introduced Ahsoka Tano into live-action.

She was brilliantly played by Rosario Dawson and she gave us quite a bit of very interesting information. She revealed much of Baby Yoda’s backstory and revealed that he was called Grogu. Also, he’s a boy – not a girl.

Ahsoka told Mando that Grogu had a lot of fear in him – much like her former Master, Anakin Skywalker who ended up becoming Darth Vader. She said she couldn’t train him, but then seemingly teased that another Jedi could. Which Jedi is still around that we know of? Well, there are two: Ezra Bridger and Luke Skywalker.

Luke Skywalker’s potential cameo could have something to do with Grand Admiral Thrawn’s potential introduction into live-action. The recent episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 made it very clear that Ahsoka Tano is after Thrawn, and she could end up enlisting the help of Luke Skywalker at some point.

We know that Luke is alive in this time period in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian takes place after the events of Star Wars: The Return of The Jedi, so that means that he could be involved in some sort of way.

However, some of you might be thinking it’s impossible because of Mark Hamill being much older than he was when he made the first movies. Well, yeah, that’s true. However, Disney and Star Wars, in particular, are no strangers to de-ageing actors, and I think Hamill might be very interested in joining the show.

Ahsoka told Mando and Grogu to go to the summit of the Jedi Temple on Tython. Could this be the moment that Mando and Grogu meet Luke? Possibly, and I’m pretty sure it’s something that Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau would be very keen on doing.
