The Mandalorian Season 2 Chapter 14 Sees [SPOILER] Return In A Big Way

WARNING: There are MAJOR SPOILERS for The Mandalorian Season 2 Chapter 14 in this article. You’ve been warned!

The Mandalorian Season 2 Chapter 14 (Episode 6) just landed on Disney Plus, and it featured the return of some pretty awesome Star Wars characters that I just had to talk about. And those characters are… I’ll let you know in the next line, just in case you still haven’t read that WARNING sentence just above.

Right, so this episode, which is yet another banger, featured the return of Boba Fett, and it also revealed that he’s now teamed up with Fennec Shand played brilliantly by Ming-Na Wen.

Yep, she’s back. We all thought she was killed in The Mandalorian Season 1, but it turns out that the mysterious figure that appeared at the end of that particular episode was in fact Boba. This episode revealed that he saved her, and she’s now working for him. They seem to be a pretty tight duo.

What’s more, after an initial battle with Mando, Fett reveals that all he wants is his Mandalorian armour back. He and Din agree that he’ll give the armour back if Boba and Fennec help to keep Grogu (Baby Yoda) safe.

Well, it seems as though Boba Fett is a man of his word, and he pledged to help Din Djarin rescue Grogu. Oh yeah, Giancarlo Esposito and his Dark Troopers managed to capture Grogu towards the end of the episode and took the poor little green guy up to their space cruiser.

I know! I was super upset too. However, Boba Fett and Fennec Shand are now teaming up with Din Djarin, and the end of the episode sees the Mandalorian go to Carla Dune for some help. He also reveals that he wants her to help him break Bill Burr’s Mayfeld out of prison.

So it seems as though Din Djarin is building himself a pretty formidable crew with the likes of Boba, Fennec, Carla and Mayfeld all going to be (hopefully) willing to help him to rescue Grogu from Grand Moff Gideon’s clutches. I also think that a pretty formidable Jedi will be brought in to help them.

In the episode, Grogu spent most of his time sitting on a rock and surrounded by a blue Force field. He was calling to someone, but who could that someone be? There are many people theorising that it could be Luke Skywalker. However, I’m not so sure. I think it could be Ezra Bridger he’s calling out to. Bridger seems to know even more than Luke did about what the Emperor was getting up to, and I’m pretty sure the Emperor is the one behind this whole thing.
