The Haunting Of Hill House Creator Says There Are No Plans To Make Season 3 Yet

The Haunting Of Hill House and The Haunting Of Bly Manor’s creator, Michael Flanagan has said there are no plans to make a third season, yet. He revealed this in a recent tweet, and I’m positive he’s trying to keep his next project under wraps.

Michael Flanagan has been making these shows, and the movie Doctor Sleep, with his own production company, Intrepid Pictures, and they’ve been really successful. He was recently asked by a fan on Twitter whether there was any chance of another chapter of The Haunting Of.. series in the future.

Flanagan then revealed that there were no plans to make a third season of the show as of yet. However, he did also say “never say never”, but as it stands (officially) there are no plans to make a third chapter in this spooky show.

Here’s what Mike Flanagan had to say about the potential of a third chapter in The Haunting Of… series happening in the future:

At the moment there are no plans for more chapters. Never say never, of course, but right now we are focused on a full slate of other  @intrepid projects for 2021 and beyond. If things change we will absolutely let everyone know!

The reason I think he’s teasing us here is because he’s spoken in the past about what could happen in Season 3. I also have it on very good authority that they are working on adapting The Woman In Black for a third chapter of The Haunting Of… series. At the moment, the working title is The Haunting Of Eel Marsh House.
