The Crown Season 4 landed on Netflix yesterday and people have already been shocked by Prince Charles’ treatment of Lady Diana in it. This is a historical show (if a little embellished), so people shouldn’t really be that shocked by it, because we kind of already knew what happened between the two of them
However, for many people around the world, this will be the first time they’ve seen a dramatised version of the events that unfolded between Charles and Diana, and the future King of the United Kingdom doesn’t come out of it very well. It has also been revealed that Prince Charles isn’t happy with the way he’s been portrayed in the show at all.

Yep, so as you can tell by that rather small sample size of tweets, people really don’t feel too warmly towards Prince Charles after watching The Crown Season 4. There’s a degree of disgust with what he did to Lady Diana.
It’s rather amusing that this is going on now, almost 35 years after the fact, and people are still angry with Prince Charles. I’m sure he wouldn’t have wanted this Netflix show to have ever been made. It really doesn’t put him, nor the British Royal Family in a very good light.
It’ll be interesting to see what Prince Charles and the rest of the Royals do regrading this Netflix show. Season 4’s really taken a turn against The Crown, and I doubt they would like what people are watching.
