It’s been rumoured that the upcoming Ahsoka Tano spinoff Star Wars series will feature Star Wars Rebels characters such as Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren. This was revealed via a YouTube channel called Kessel Run Transmissions.
This is something that’s been rumoured for quite some time. There have been a lot of people out there claiming that they know what’s going to happen in the upcoming season of The Mandalorian and the live-action Ahsoka Tano series.
We’re now hearing from Kessel Run Transmissions that Star Wars Rebels characters will crossover into the Ahsoka series, which makes a lot of sense. It’s what I’ve been hearing will happen for a while now.
Ahsoka might feature Ezra Bridger and other Star Wars Rebels characters
It does seem to me as though this is the future of these Star Wars Rebels characters. Rather than seeing them come back in animation, I’ve been hearing that they’re going to bring them into live-action instead.
Now, that doesn’t mean that Dave Filoni won’t get to do some more animated Star Wars stuff. However, given the popularity of Rosario Dawson’s performance as Ahsoka Tano, it seems as though they’re just going to bring the other characters over into live-action.
That said, Dave Filoni still reportedly wants to get to end these characters’ stories in animation form. That is something that seems to mean a lot to Dave Filoni and also Star Wars Rebels fans.
