Terrifier 2 Streaming On Screambox In Time For Halloween

terrifier-2-release-date

It’s been revealed that Terrifier 2 will be available to stream on SCREAMBOX right in time for Halloween (via Collider), which I think is perfect. However, I have to say that the streaming platform isn’t available in the United Kingdom or France, so I still cannot watch the movie! I’ve been trying to find a way to watch the latest instalment in the Art the Clown horror franchise.

It seems like the movie won’t be available to watch on the big screen in the United Kingdom and France. I live in Paris, and I often go to London for work. I would love to be able to watch the movie on the biggest screen possible. However, for some reason, they don’t seem to be planning a worldwide release that includes territories such as the UK and France.

We’re going to have to wait and see what ends up happening regarding Terrifier 2’s wider release. I have been contacting people to try and get information on this front, but no one has answered my many emails as of yet.

However, there is more good news if you’re based in the United States (I’ve never been so jealous of my American readers!). The shock horror hit is also expanding its theatrical reach to more than one thousand screens nationwide. You can now go over to Terrifier 2’s official website and find a screening near you, if you live in the US. The first Terrifier movie was released in 20216 and it very quickly became a cult hit.

However, it wasn’t the first movie to feature Art The Clown. There was a movie that was released in 20213 called All Hallow’s Eve in 2016. It was also written and directed by Damien Leone. These movies have resulted in Art The Clown becoming an iconic horror villain and audiences seemed to love this retro slasher franchise filled with blood, guts and a lot of gore.

It took Leone quite some time to get the Terrifier sequel made, but in the end, he managed to get it released, and the movie has made over $5 million at the US box office. Leone managed to get the movie made with no money from studios, which means that viewers are now watching the completely united version of the film in cinemas.

The movie is 138-minutes long, and it’s a completely uncut blood bath that will be remembered as one of the most brutal films of the decade.

The sequel stars David Howard Thornton as Art the Clown. The film also brings back Samantha Scaffidi as Victoria Heyes, the first movie’s lead survivor. Jenna Kanell (The Front Runner) and Catherine Corcoran (Long Lost) are also back as Tara Heyes and Dawn, respectively.

Art’s new targets are Leah Voysey (Operencia: The Stolen Sun) and Elliott Fullam (The Other Two), with the cast being rounded up by Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Chris Jericho (MacGruber), Sarah Voigt (We Have a Ghost), Kailey Hyman (A Man Called Otto), Casey Hartnett (What We Found), and Griffin Santopietro (Cobra Kai).

Terrifier 2 is currently available in theatres in the US. The film will be available to stream on SCREAMBOX from Monday, October 31st.
