Supergirl Ending On The CW After Season 6

It’s been revealed that Supergirl will be ending on The CW after Season 6 which is very sad news, but at least we’re getting one more season.

Now, I’ve never been the biggest fan of The CW’s Supergirl.

That said, there have been some incredible episodes of the show and I never like to see a DC Comics show get cancelled.

It’s been announced today via Deadline that Supergirl will be ending after Season 6.

This is pretty sad to hear, however, it’s a bit of a miracle that we’ve got six seasons of this show.

It didn’t look good for the show after its first season which was originally aired on CBS.

There were rumours that it was going to get cancelled after just one season, but then The CW got their hands on the show.

We’ve now on Season 5 and Deadline’s report on Supergirl ending confirmed that we will get one last season.

The show was put on hold for a while during the Coronavirus lockdown.

The Flash, Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow were all also put on hold.

It’s been a tough time for all of these shows and we might be seeing The CW opt to end more of their DC Comics properties in the future.

There have been grumblings of The Flash getting the wind up, as well as Legends of Tomorrow.

One show which will get at least two more seasons is Batwoman who’ve just replaced Ruby Rose with Javicia Leslie.
