A Starfire Origins DCEU Movie Is Being Developed By Warner Bros

Starfire has been a central part of the Teen Titans since the very beginning, yet she’s so much more than just a bit player in the superhero team. She’s a really interesting character in her own right, and it seems as though some people at DC Films and Warner Bros. Pictures have realised that fact.

Starfire may not be a name you’re that familiar with. I know a lot of people who’s introduction to the DC Comics character came in the TV show Titans.

However, there’s a lot to the character, and some of that has been explored in the Titans TV series, yet according to We Got This Covered’s sources, DC Films and Warner Bros. Pictures seem rather keen on making a solo Starfire movie.

Personally, I think that would be great. DC Films and Warner Bros. have been making better and better DCEU movies of late, and with Joker they’ve proven that they can make interesting standalone movies too.

Should there be a Starfire movie in the DCEU?

Now, the rumours are that this Starfire movie will be part of the DCEU, which I think would be perfect. Imagine what would happen when Wonder Woman and Starfire meet one another.

It would be something worth putting to the big screen, and I know there are plenty of DC Comics fans who would like to see the character get the proper big-screen treatment.

I also think her powers would be better suited to a big-budget film as well. Starfire is an alien – she Tamaranean to be exact – and she can absorb ultraviolet radiation.

She can then convert the radiation into pure energy, allowing her to fly at supersonic speeds.

She’s super powerful, especially during the day time, and I think the DCEU needs a few more battle scenes in pure daylight because they have had a tendency of being rather dark.
