Has Anakin Skywalker’s Role In Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Been Revealed?

WARNING: Potential SPOILERS for Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker in this article.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is coming out very soon (it’s literally days away from release), and people are still wondering whether Anakin Skywalker will make an appearance in the movie.

There have been many theories surrounding how Anakin could return in the J.J. Abrams movie, and now we may have just had confirmation of how he will turn up in the movie.

According to Making Star Wars’ Jason Ward, Anakin will be in the movie, and he even revealed in what capacity the former Jedi would be returning.

Here’s what he wrote: “A few sources have now seen the film and while they were tight-lipped in general about what they saw, they did finally give me some confirming nods about Anakin and his involvement in the film.”

He goes on to reveal that his sources told him that Anakin Skywalker’s voice can be heard in the movie, and says that it sounds like it’s Hayden Christensen doing the voice.

Here’s what Making Star Wars’ Jason Ward wrote in full:

Anakin’s voice is heard at the end of the film and sources say it sounds like Hayden Christensen (rather than The Clone Wars’voice actor Matt Lanter).

I would love to hear Hayden back as Anakin Skywalker, and it’s about time he gets to return to the Star Wars franchise.

He’s been out in the cold for too long. It’s time to welcome Hayden back with open arms.

Now, this could all be a load of nonsense, but I do think it’s the kind of thing that J.J. Abrams would like to do.
