It’s being rumoured that Paramount Pictures is considering a Sonic The Hedgehog spinoff movie starring Knuckles. This rumour comes from We Got This Covered.
Sonic The Hedgehog was one of the best blockbuster movies to have come out in 2020. Yep. That’s thanks to Covid-19. It was basically one of the last movies to have a big release in cinemas and I thought it was actually quite good.
The film was actually supposed to be released in 2019 (ah, I miss 2019). However, Paramount ended up pushing the movie into 2020 after the film’s trailer was released and people hated the Sonic design.
It’s now being suggested that Knuckles might be getting his own spinoff movie, which actually makes a lot of sense. Knuckles didn’t make it into the recent Sonic The Hedgehog movie and he’s a pretty cool character, so they might have been saving him for his own movie.

I’m thinking that Paramount Pictures was pleasantly surprised by how well the Sonic The Hedgehog movie did at the box office and with fans. I heard many people say that it’s the best video game movie ever made.
I’d actually agree with those people. I can’t think of a better movie based on a video game. Maybe the Detective Pikachu movie, which I actually really enjoyed. I think that Paramount Pictures is hoping to turn the Sonic property into a pretty big franchise for them.
