Ryan Reynolds Reveals Marvel Studio’s Deadpool 3 Plans

Ryan Reynolds has opened up about the current state of the Deadpool 3 movie now that it’s with Marvel Studios and Disney as opposed to Fox.

We’ve all been wondering what’s going to happen with Deadpool 3 ever since Disney acquired 20th Century Fox.

Disney doesn’t make ‘R-rated’ movies and Deadpool is very much an ‘R-rated’ movie franchise.

However, it does sound as if the movie is still going to be made at Disney, and hopefully it’ll still be R-rated.

Actor and producer, Ryan Reynolds, opened up about what’s happening with the movie.

“Oh, man, I really don’t know,” Reynolds told Total Film (via GamesRadar) about Deadpool 3.

“It’s just all so new with it being over at Marvel now, and, you know, figuring out the ins and outs as much as I can, from where I sit. We’ll see.”

Reynolds had previously met with Marvel Studios in 2019, supposedly in order to discuss Deadpool’s future at Disney.

The fact that the Deadpool movies have been R-rated was part of their huge success means that Disney has to consider keeping the mature rating.

Reynolds did offer a flash of hope in the form of optimism.

“I don’t feel like an insider at all. I think once I’m more intimate with it – if we get to make a Deadpool 3… if or when we get to make a Deadpool 3, I’ll probably have a better perspective on that,” Ryan said.

“But I’m a huge fan of Marvel, and how they make movies. So when Disney bought Fox, I only saw that as a good thing.

“Deadpool hopefully being allowed to play in that sandbox, I think is just a win for everyone involved. But we’ll certainly see.”
