We’ve been waiting for the show to bring in the big Batman villains, and they’re going to bring in one of the biggest ones yet in Hush.
Hush was first seen in the graphic novel, Batman: Hush, which is a great read if you haven’t read it yet.
He was created by Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee and has becoming something of an iconic villain.
The character has been portrayed in live-action by Cole Vallis and Gordon Winarick in Gotham, and is about to be played by Gabriel Mann in the first season of Batwoman.
We’ve now had our first look at Hush in Batwoman in the promo video for the upcoming episode.
The episode will be called “A Secret Kept From All The Rest” and it will be Episode 19 of Batwoman Season 1.
Hush will be in The CW’s show, Batwoman
In comics, Hush is actually called Dr. Thomas “Tommy” Elliot and was a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne’s.
However, he comes to resent Bruce after he inherited his family’s fortune following the murder of his parents while Tommy’s efforts to kill his own parents and gain their fortune failed.
He discovers Bruce was Batman, and then takes on the persona of Hush and sets out to take Batman down.
However, Batwoman’s version of the character will be slightly different.
He grows up to be a real estate mogul who’s obsessed with Bruce Wayne and knows he’s Batman.
He blames Batman for ruining his life by saving his mother prompting Tommy to want revenge.
