Ryan Gosling Rumoured To Be Up To Play Bruce Wayne In Joker 2

Now, this is a strange one. There are now rumours going around the web that Ryan Gosling might be playing Bruce Wayne in the Joker sequel.

This does seem like a little strange to me since if he were playing Wayne in Joker 2 (or whatever they decided to call it), he might be a bit too old for the role.

However, it has to be said that Ryan Gosling would make an excellent Bruce Wayne. If you’ve seen him in the likes of Crazy Stupid Love and Blade Runner 2049, then you’ll know what I’m talking about.

This rumour came from We Got This Covered, who’s sources told them that Warner Bros. Pictures loves the idea of bringing Gosling into the Joker sequel.

Now, this could mean that they want to bring him in as another character who’s not Bruce Wayne, and I would argue that it would make sense due to the age thing.

The Bruce Wayne in the first Joker movie was just a kid, and it would be too odd to see him so grown up in the second movie.

Could Ryan Gosling be cast as Bruce Wayne in Joker 2?

I believe a better character for Gosling to play should he really be in the Joker sequel would be Harvey Dent, and it would be interesting to see him and Arthur Fleck have a few scenes together in the movie.

I’m not sure how this is going to play out, and WGTC’s sources do tend to say a lot of stuff, so the likelihood is that nothing will happen and Gosling won’t be in Joker 2.

That said, I really do think the pairing of Joaquin Phoenix and Ryan Gosling would work really well on-screen, and I don’t think the two have ever been in a movie together.
