Ray Stevenson Star Wars And Marvel Actor Has Passed Away

Ray Stevenson, star of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Ahsoka, Marvel’s Thor, and Punisher: War Zone, has passed away at the age of 58. This was quite a shock to many, considering we just saw him at Star Wars Celebration 2023.

It seemed like not too long ago that John Wick actor Lance Reddick passed away from ischemic heart disease and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease. And even Tom Sizemore’s death was also a surprise which was caused by a brain aneurysm. Star Trek: Picard’s Borg Queen, Annie Wersching, died because of cancer.

Now we have lost another icon.

People will still be able to see his film 1242: Gateway to the West, which is currently in post-production. The release date for the film is currently unknown.

Ray Stevenson was supposed to star in the film Cassino in Ischia, portraying the role of Nic Cassino. Unfortunately, he passed away during the filming, and it remains uncertain whether he was able to complete his scenes. There is a possibility that he could be replaced by another actor. The release date for this film has not been announced yet.

Stevenson was previously married to actress Ruth Gemmell from 1997 until their divorce in 2005. He has three sons with his partner, Italian anthropologist Elisabetta Caraccia.
