Noah Schnapp Denies Using The N-Word And Claims He Was Singing ‘Neighbour’

So, Noah Schnapp has issued an apology of sorts, yet he claims he wasn’t saying the N-word, but was actually singing ‘neighbour’.

This clip of Noah Schnapp singing a song with the N-word in it has gone viral and it looks like people are trying to cancel the Stranger Things actor yet again.

He’s already been in trouble of late, but it seems like this story might be slightly more worrying for the young actor.

His Twitter account was reportedly hacked recently after a series of ‘strange’ tweets were posted.

Now, a video of the actor has surfaced in which he’s in a car with some friends and is loudly singing along to a song with the N-word in it.

It does seem in the video as if he’s shouting out the N-word every time it comes up.

However, Noah has since issued a statement via his Instagram account, but it’s not really an apology.

Here’s what Noah wrote:

Hi guys, recently a video from last summer has gotten out of me dancing and singing while singing the word “neighbour” over the n word. i would truly never say the n word and i’m not the type of person. i genuinely have never used that word in my life. using the word “neighbour” in that song was just something my camp friends and i did. i hope you all understand i could never even think about doing that. my friends also would never post a video, or support me, if i was saying a slur without hesitation. i apologize for using a replacement word. it is not my place to use one and i should of kept my mouth shut. i understand why it is found offensive and i am so sorry.

Honestly, I’m not sure if I buy that he was singing ‘neighbour’.

However, I’m sure a lot of people are going to be inspecting that video to find out what he was really singing.
