A New World Of Warcraft Movie Is Rumoured To Be In The Works

There’s a rumour making the rounds on the Internet which suggests that a new World Of Warcraft movie is in the works.

Duncan Jones’ first Warcraft movie had a lot of promise and could have been incredible.

However, it ended up being rather disappointing, despite Jones’ best efforts to make an epic movie based on the popular video game.

That said, despite the film’s poor reception, the movie didn’t do all that badly at the box office.

It ended up making just over $433 million at the box office.

Why, you ask?

Well, World Of Warcraft, the game, is huge, especially now in China.

Jones’ movie found a pretty big audience in Chian and it seems as though Legendary Pictures is looking to capitalise on that fact.

According to We Got This Covered, Legendary Pictures are looking to make another Warcraft movie.

They claim that the movie is already in development.

Now, you have to always be very cautious as far as We Got This Covered’s sources are concerned.

They don’t have the best track record when it comes to their ‘scoops’.

That said, this rumour really does make sense and movie studios look more towards China for their revenue.

It’s a huge market and Warcraft is huge over there, so it makes sense to make another movie geared towards that market.

It does seem as though Jones won’t be directing this next one as he’s already busy with his adaptation of 2000AD’s Rogue Trooper.
