Netflix Rumoured To Be Making A Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga Sequel

It’s being rumoured that Netflix is already working on a Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga sequel, which I am very excited about. This rumour comes from We Got This Covered, so maybe take it with a slight pinch of salt.

However, the idea of Netflix making a Eurovision Song Contest sequel makes perfect sense to me. The first movie ended up being very successful on the streaming service. With us all being stuck in lockdown and the Eurovision officially being cancelled for 2020, it looks like loads of Eurovision fans ended up watching the Netflix movie instead.

It gave me a bit of my yearly Eurovision fix, and I will love it for that. And it looks like Netflix wants to try and make a second movie, and I bet they’re hoping they’ve hit on a winning formula.

Eurovision Song Contest on Netflix is easily one of Will Ferrell’s best films in years. However, as I stated in my review, I think that Rachel McAdams is the reason why the movie worked so well.

Will Ferrell’s at his very best when he’s up against a performer who is able to ‘keep him in check’. It also helps that her character is often funnier than Ferrell’s. I’d be interested to see where the story could go next. I’d also love to see Dan Stevens return for the sequel. He was so good in the first film.
