Michael B. Jordan Rumoured To Be Returning For Black Panther 2

It’s being rumoured that Michael B. Jordan could be returning in the upcoming Black Panther sequel (Black Panther 2). This rumour comes to us from Mikey Sutton over at Geekosity.

This comes after Jordan spoke to People and he was asked about the possibility of him returning as Killmonger in Black Panther 2. Here’s what the actor had to say about that:

But being in that world in a character that I loved playing, and working with [writer/director Ryan Coogler] and all that good stuff, it’s family. We created a family over there. So to be able to be in that world again is something that, I think, will always be on the table in some capacity.

Here’s what Mickey Sutton over at Geekostiy had to said about Jordan possibly returning to Black Panther 2:

Michael B. Jordan could be the next Black Panther, but just not T’Challa. As the script for Black Panther 2 continues to be written, plans for the sequel are still evolving after the sudden passing of star Chadwick Boseman on August 28, 2020 from colon cancer.

The fact that Killmonger died in Black Panther might be a bit of an issue in bringing him back. However, characters do have a tendency of returning from the dead in the MCU, so there’s always the possibility of Jordan returning as Killmonger.
