It’s being reported that Marvel Studios is planning on making some horror-based TV shows for Disney Plus Star. This news was revealed by Mikey Sutton over at Geekosity.

This comes after it was revealed that Marvel Studios is going to be making Deadpool 3 and it’ll be R-rated and part of the MCU. So, it seems as though there’s going to be a bit of a shift in the MCU. It sounds as though they’re going to start making R-rated movies and now Mikey Sutton has added that they’re also going to be making R-rated TV shows for Disney Plus Star outside of the US and possible for Hulu in the US.

Sutton revealed that by 2024 Comcast will lose its 33% stake in Hulu and this will allow Disney to have full control over the streaming platform, and this will enable them to start making these horror-based Marvel TV shows and put them on Hulu.

Here’s what Sutton had to say about Kevin Feige wanting to start developing these horror-based Marvel TV shows:

Such a situation will enable Feige to create MCU horror shows without having to water them down. Simultaneously, they can fully embrace the MCU under Feige’s creative guidance unlike the recently cancelled Helstrom, the last gasp of Jeph Loeb’s Marvel TV.

Sutton also went on to reveal which properties Feige is thinking of bringing to the small screen. These properties include Tomb of Dracula, Adventure Into FearDeathlokClea and Ghost Rider.
