Lucifer Season 6 Might Not Happen Because Of Tom Ellis’ Contract Issues

It had been reported that Tom Ellis had signed a contract extension meaning he could star in a potential Lucifer Season 6, however, there seem to be issues with that contract.

This news comes from TV Line who report that there could now be issues with the supposed contract extension Ellis had reportedly signed.

According to their sources, the re-negotiations between Tom Ellis and Warner Bros. Television aren’t going too well.

They’ve actually been told that the talks between the two parties have come to a standstill.

This is very bad news for Lucifer Season 6 since it was all coming down to Ellis’ contract.

It had been reported that Ellis has signed on the dotted line, but those reports have since been debunked by TV Line’s source.

They claim that Ellis has been asking for more and more money to star in a sixth season.

According to their sources, Warner Bros. Television has tried to “sweetened the pot” for Ellis multiple times.

“Everyone wants Tom to be happy,” the insider told TV Line.

They continued: “But there’s a limit, and it’s been reached.”

It sounds like Ellis wants to be paid the big bucks to star in another season of Lucifer on Netflix.
