Lucifer Season 5’s Release Date On Netflix Teased By Tom Ellis
Lucifer Season 5 will be landing on Netflix at some point in the future, but we still haven’t had a release date for when the show’s final season will air on Netflix.
However, Lucifer star, Tom Ellis, has been chatting about the upcoming season and revealed recently that the show will be released in two parts.
Ellis was talking to Kelly Clarkson, who show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, was invited to visit the cast on set.
This was where Tom revealed: “Season 5 of Lucifer is going to be split into two halves.
“Netflix is going to drop eight episodes, there’s going to be a little break, and then they’re going to drop another eight more episodes.”
Kelly and her mum and sister got a good look at the set during their set visit, and it does seem as though everybody’s having a good time on the show.
This won’t be the first time Netflix has released a season in two parts. They did the same thing for the final season of Breaking Bad, and they did something similar with Arrested Development.
However, what does this mean in terms of Lucifer Season 5’s release date? Well, the fact that Season 5 will be split into two parts means that the first part could be coming out at some point in mid-2020, perhaps around May.
Sounds like Lucifer Season 5 is going to last a little longer than we thought

The second part would then be aired towards the end of 2020, or perhaps the beginning of 2021.
This means that fans of the show will have to wait a little bit longer until they get to see the show’s finale, which is said to be hugely emotional.
This was revealed by Lucifer star, Aimme Gracia – who plays Ella Lopez on the show – as she revealed to Entertainment Weekly that she “may have gotten a little bit emotional” at the season finale plot.
She continued: “The first thing I did was touch my heart.
“I’m sure there will be a lot of Kleenexes especially because anyone who is a hopeless romantic out there,
“We have a Beauty and the Beast love story going on and ultimately it’s about love.”
Sound like Lucifer Season 5 is going to be one of the television events of the year!
